Damian Priest believes that former NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar would fit right in with the Judgment Day.
Priest, Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley make up the current stable, with Edge being kicked out of the group in early June.
Speaking with Cultaholic, Priest stated that the faction would be open to recruiting Escobar, noting:
“Yeah, definitely. Look, you’ve got Santos Escobar over there that I’m a big fan of, and I think he would fit right in with Judgment Day. But yeah, there are definitely talents out there that are more than capable and fit the vibe of Judgement Day.
“Our doors are open. You know, it’s just it’s one of those situations that it has to make sense. We all have to agree on it the right person, right time, right place. So there’s always a chance.”
Escobar was forced to leave NXT after losing to Tony D’Angelo at NXT Heatwave. Following reports that the star is main roster bound, it has been indicated that the Legado Del Fantasma faction will be called up with Escobar.
NXT standout Solo Sikoa made his main roster debut at Clash At The Castle, interfering in Roman Reigns’ Undisputed WWE Universal Championship bout against Drew McIntyre. Sikoa is notably the brother of The Usos.
