Damian Priest has now reached an impressive milestone with his WWE United States Championship reign.
Today (February 22) marks Priest’s 186th day as US Champion since winning the gold at SummerSlam 2021. This means that Priest’s current title run is the longest reign with the championship since Jon Moxley’s (Dean Ambrose) 351 day reign that ended in May 2014, the longest US Title reign in almost eight years.
Priest’s reign has now passed Sheamus’ 182 day title stint in 2014, and Bobby Lashley’s 175 day run with the gold that ended in February 2021.
Priest defeated Sheamus to win the US Championship in August 2021, and most recently defended the gold. against AJ Styles on last week’s episode of WWE Raw.
On next week’s show, Priest will face off against Finn Balor, with the title on the line.
