Damian Priest WWE Status Major Update

There’s been a big time update on the WWE roster status of former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest.

Priest was last seen on WWE Raw scoring a win against Finn Balor in a street fight on the second Netflix episode of Raw, which was January 13.

Having been on Raw since his initial main roster call-up from NXT in 2021, Damian Priest now has a new home.

As announced on tonight’s January 24 episode of SmackDown, Damian Priest has been transferred from Raw to SmackDown in the WWE transfer window.

Priest’s first SmackDown opponent will be Carmelo Hayes, with that match taking place on tonight’s show.

Priest joins The Miz as Raw stars who have officially been transferred to SmackDown as of tonight’s show.

Prior to tonight, other Raw to SmackDown transfers were Braun Strowman and the Wyatt Sicks.

Thus far, the only star to move in the opposite direction – from SmackDown to Raw – is Bayley.
