Former WWE star Aron Stevens (Damien Sandow) was trending on social media during Monday’s edition of Raw.
On the show, it was announced that Elias will make his return on next week’s episode. This follows months of Kevin Owens trying to convince the world that the returning star’s brother Ezekiel is actually just a clean-shaven Elias.
If Owens’ claims are true, Ezekiel will need a stunt double to fool people into believing that he and Elias are different people. A number of fans have taken to Twitter to pitch the return of Damian Sandow in the role of Elias, following his previous stint as The Miz’ double ‘Damien Mizdow’ in 2014-2015.
At NWA Alwayz Ready on June 11, Aron Stevens was defeated by Trevor Murdoch in a match billed as Stevens’ ‘Swan Song’. Stevens gave an emotional farewell following the bout before telling the fans ‘you’re welcome’.
Stevens last appeared for WWE in 2016, prior to his release on May 6 of that year.
