Dana White Addresses Report On Potential Ronda Rousey UFC Return AEW

UFC President Dana White has once again addressed rumors about Ronda Rousey making an MMA return, commenting on Rousey’s future.

Following Rousey’s last WWE match against Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam, some fans speculated that Rousey is preparing for a UFC return.

Dana White initially denied this, telling Sports Illustrated that there’s ‘no shot’ that Rousey returns to the UFC.

Since then, the Daily Mail has reported that a Ronda Rousey ‘confidant’ stated that the former MMA star is ‘focusing on potentially making a run to have one last fight in the UFC’, possibly at next year’s UFC 300 event

Speaking with to media following Dana White’s Contender Series (via Aaron Bronsteter of TSN Sports), Dana White called this report a ‘crock of s**t’, before denying that Rousey has her eyes on a UFC return for a second time.

White said:

“Ronda’s having kids! Ronda built this whole thing that’s going on with the women here, then her dream was to go to the WWE, she went there and did everything that she did there and achieved, she’s made sh*tloads of money.

“She’s moved on with her life.”

Rousey hasn’t fought in the UFC since December 2016 at UFC 207, where she suffered a first round loss to Amanda Nunes.

White also recently addressed speculation about Brock Lesnar potentially competing at UFC 300.
