A Danhausen match has been officially announced for WWE SummerSlam 2026 in Minneapolis, Minnesota next weekend.
At Saturday Night’s Main Event, Danhausen was in in-ring action when he faced off against JD McDonagh of the Judgment Day in a No Disqualification match.
Danhausen would even the score against the Judgment Day thanks to KAThausen, Karl-Anthony Towns of the New York Knicks, appearing from his cloning machine to fight Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh.
Danhausen To Make SummerSlam Debut Against Dominik Mysterio
The rivalry between the Judgment Day and Danhausen continued on tonight’s WWE Raw show, when they continued to demand the money that Danhausen owed them.
This led to Joe Hendry making the save for Danhausen from an attack at the hands of Dominik and McDonagh, before later on defeating Dominik in singles action thanks to Danhausen and IYO SKY.
After the match, it was made official that Danhausen will make his SummerSlam debut next weekend, when he faces Dominik Mysterio in singles action.
Where Does Sami Zayn Fit In WWE’s SummerSlam Plans
A few weeks ago, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE’s SummerSlam plans before Rhea Ripley suffered her knee injury had Sami Zayn completely AWOL from the two-night PLE’s card.
While many of the prospective matches on that card don’t appear to be coming to a fruition, it’s certainly looking like WWE’s mind may not have changed when it comes to Zayn and the two night Minneapolis event.
With Zayn’s hopes to regain the Undisputed WWE Title dashed by Nick Aldis, who will now take on GUNTHER one-on-one, Zayn is left as the odd man out of the SmackDown main event scene.
Despite a tease from Jacob Fatu, not even The Bloodline storyline has a spot vacant for Zayn to get involve, as The Usos and Jacob Fatu are set to take on the trio of LA Knight, Royce Keys and Solo Sikoa. Aside from the return of Kevin Owens, or Zayn somehow forcing Johnny Gargano back up onto his feet, it truly feels like there is very little on the table for Zayn.
While there may not be a match for him, expect Zayn to still play a huge role at the event, namely interfering in either Nick Aldis vs. GUNTHER or CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes.
