An update on Danhausen’s status for tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown following his debut at Elimination Chamber.
UPDATE: Danhausen did appear on SmackDown in a backstage segment with Nick Aldis and The Miz, with Aldis and Danhausen trying to convince Miz to mentor him – or be cursed.
Former AEW star Danhausen officially made his WWE debut at the Elimination Chamber 2026 event last weekend, a day after his contract with AEW expired.
Danhausen would go on to also appear on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, where he appeared in a backstage segment with the Judgment Day, cursing Dominik Mysterio ahead of his Intercontinental Championship defence against Penta.
Penta would go on to score the win over Dominik to capture his first championship of his WWE career, and with Danhausen unassigned, many wondered if he would also appear on tonight’s SmackDown show.
In an update, Danhausen has shared a photo of himself at tonight’s episode of SmackDown, confirming that he is in the house for the show.
He wrote:
Friday Night Smackdownhausen.
Who’s getting cursed?
It is not known yet if Danhausen will appear on the show itself, though with Adam Pearce calling Nick Aldis about him on Raw, it seems as though that will be the case.
