Daniel Bryan Lists Dream Opponents!

Since Daniel Bryan’s return to in-ring action earlier this year, fans have been salivating about potential dream matches involving Bryan and the best superstars from Raw, SmackDown Live and NXT.

So far on the blue bran,d we’ve seen the leader of the ‘Yes movement’ share the ring with the likes of AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy, and Samoa Joe but there is still a long list of names we’ve yet to see the bearded one face off within a WWE ring.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion recently addressed this topic during an interview with ESPN and listed the wrestlers he is itching to compete against:

“I actually do have a list [of dream opponents] and it ranges from guys like AJ Styles and Goldberg to Johnny Gargano and Roderick Strong, who are down at NXT. I want to wrestle AJ, I want to wrestle Shinsuke Nakamura, I want to wrestle Andrade “Cien” Almas because I love Lucha.”

Bryan specifically highlighted former NXT Champion, Andrade “Cien” Almas and elaborated on why he feels that match would be great:

“So, Andrade is a true luchador, who main evented arenas in Mexico as a luchador and I want to go out there and I want to wrestle him.”

With Almas and Nakamura already a part of the SmackDown Live roster, it won’t be long until we see then square off against the man in question.

The match with the most potential could arguably be Johnny Gargano. It may be a while before that match materializes, however, since Johnny Wrestling is currently embroiled in a bitter feud with former DIY partner, Tommaso Ciampa in NXT. If it does come to fruition in the future, it’s safe to say that match would be pure art.
