Last night on Friday Night Smackdown, Daniel Bryan was attacked by The Fiend Bray Wyatt. This was Wyatt’s first appearance on WWE TV since winning the Universal Championship at Crown Jewel.
As a result, some have speculated that The Fiend will be defending his Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan on Smackdown in the coming months.
It has been rumoured earlier on in the week that The Miz would actually be The Fiend’s first challenger after the pair were advertised to go one-on-one at WWE Live Events later this month.
Bray Wyatt has taken to Twitter in the hours following the attack to address the former WWE Champion.

With Brock Lesnar defending his WWE Championship against Rey Mysterio in just over two weeks at Survivor Series, it is quite likely that we could see The Fiend defending his Universal title against Daniel Bryan at the pay-per-view.
The prospect of a Fiend vs. Bryan match is rather exciting. As a multi-time WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan is a perfect babyface to go up against the heel Bray Wyatt, so this feud should be rather exciting.
