Daniel Bryan v AJ Styles Confirmed For TLC

The expected Daniel Bryan v AJ Styles match at TLC was confirmed on tonight’s SmackDown.

The WWE Title bout will be Bryan’s first title defence of the belt since defeating Styles on the November 14 episode of SmackDown.

Bryan controversially used a low blow while the referee was down before hitting a running knee to put Styles away. Following his win, Bryan snapped and mercilessly attacked AJ, turning heel in the process.

On tonight’s SmackDown, Bryan explained his actions.

He declared himself The New Daniel Bryan, saying that the Yes Movement was dead and that this version of him follows his dreams no matter what the cost.

Styles was not on the show but he will return next week to respond to Bryan and further hype the first-time-ever pay-per-view meeting with the champ.
