There has been an update on the WWE future, or lack thereof, of Daniel Bryan today.
Per PWInsider, there has been no discussions internally of Daniel Bryan returning to WWE, and that he is not listed on the company’s roster. Some people in the company have taken this to mean Bryan will sign with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) but there is no confirmation that is correct as of right now.
PWInsider did confirm that Bryan was not apart of the list of talent plans for merchandising over the next year, and that he is not slated for any future Mattel action figure releases.
Of course, Bryan could eventually re-sign with the company, but at this moment in time he has been removed from all future merchandising by WWE.
Daniel Bryan hasn’t been seen on WWE television since Roman Reigns banished him from SmackDown on April 30.
