Daniel Cormier Predicts NXT Star Will Become WWE Champion UFC

UFC Hall of Famer has praised NXT’s the Creed Brothers, predicting that Julius Creed will one day become WWE Champion.

Cormier recently was the special guest referee for the Fight Pit main event of Extreme Rules. during the bout, Matt Riddle defeated Seth Rollins via submission.

Speaking on The Ringer’s Masked Man Show, Cormier named Julius Creed as a top WWE prospect.

Believing that the former NXT Tag Team Champion has the makings of a WWE Champion, Cormier said:

They’re good bro. The Creed Brothers are really good. Let me tell you something, Jake (Julius Creed) is gonna be a main event player at some point and I’m not taking anything away from his brother (Brutus Creed) but, look at him, you can just look at him and see that he’s got that thing, right?

“He’s big, he’s in phenomenal shape, he can do anything in the ring. I asked him the other day, I said, ‘How do you do that one move?’ He goes, ‘What?’ I go, ‘When you’re sitting on your butt and you got a guy in a suplex and you stand up.

“How in the world do you get up with a guy on your shoulders?’ And he was kind of explaining it to me. I’m not telling you guys that (podcast hosts). It’s crazy how he can do that. The kid’s got everything. He can do high-flying moves, he can wrestle as a powerhouse, he can do it all.

“He’s gonna be a future champion and maybe not right now you view him as a future WWE Champion but he will be at some point. I really believe this.”

Cormier previously revealed that there were scrapped plans for him to work with the Creed Brothers on NXT. You can read more about these nixed plans right here.
