There has been an update on the AEW contract of Daniel Garcia following his surprise return at All In London 2024.
During the highly-anticipated AEW American Championship match between MJF and Will Ospreay, Daniel Garcia made his return to TV after being written off in early July by MJF.
Garcia appeared on the ring apron donning a mask, preventing MJF from using the brass knuckles on Ospreay at a pivotal point in the match, and in turn gaining revenge on MJF following his brutal attack on him almost two months prior.
Garcia’s return naturally led to questions from fans regarding his AEW contract, with reports suggesting his deal was set to expire in October – with WWE reportedly interested in signing him should he become available.
Despite his return perhaps leading to the assumption that Garcia has now re-signed with AEW, according to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson that has not yet happened.
Johnson reports that Garcia is still under contract with AEW through October, but does remain in discussions with the company.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on Garcia’s contract situation as/when they become available.
