A new report has indicated that AEW could be filming Darby Allin for a new TV series.
While with AEW, Cody and Brandi Rhodes stared in ‘Rhodes To The Top’, a reality show about their lives. Per Fightful Select (subscription required), several AEW sources hadn’t seen any filming for the show in recent weeks.
The report noted that there are hopes that other talents can feature on reality programs, with Darby Allin being recently being filmed. A reason for the filming hasn’t been officially confirmed.
A job listing shared in August 2021 indicated that WarnerMedia had four AEW TV series in the works, including Rhodes To The Top. Per the listing, AEW is also looking to expand into other avenues, including comics, NFTs and streaming.
AEW announced Cody and Brandi Rhodes’ AEW departures earlier today. Per WrestleVotes, a WWE source is fully anticipating Rhodes joining the company.
