During last night’s episode of AEW Dark, two trios matches were announced as having been added to tonight’s AEW Dynamite on TNT.
The first of those trios matches will see Darby Allin, Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley team up to take on Ryan Nemeth, Cezar Bononi and JD Drake of the Wingmen.
Allin, Kingston and Moxley teamed together a couple of weeks ago to beat 2point0 and Daniel Garcia.
Allin will be CM Punk’s opponent for his big in-ring return at All Out on September 5.
The other trios match will be QT Marshall, Aaron Solo and Nick Comoroto against the Gunn Club of Billy, Austin and Colten.
This will be Austin Gunn’s first match since he was written off TV for a few months by Anthony Ogogo, and it will be Colten’s Dynamite debut.
Paul Wight, who faces Marshall at All Out, will be on commentary for that match.
It was also confirmed during Dark that Chris Jericho will address his future following last week’s crushing loss to MJF.
Already announced for tonight’s AEW Dynamite was CM Punk appearing, Orange Cassidy vs Matt Hardy, Malakai Black vs Brock Anderson, and Red Velvet vs Jamie Hayter.
The main thing us three have in common is our passion for AEW.
If anyone is treating this place as a vacation or don’t put they’re entire soul into it they can GTFO. https://t.co/1qgFbuzdg8
