Tonight on AEW: Dynamite, The Dark Order cut a promo. During the promo, they revealed they’ll be wrestling SCU at AEW Revolution.
However, that’s not all they revealed. Stu Grayson and Evil Uno will be fighting Scorpio Sky and Frankie Kazarian. This battle has been brewing for weeks.
Dark Order continued to tease that the Exalted One is near. They also promised to make SCU Obsolete by the end of the match.

Clearly, this was definitely intended to be a teaser that Matt Hardy would appear and be revealed as the Exalted One. At this point, you have to think where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
With Hardy’s contract actually expiring on Saturday, it would be difficult to get him to actually appear on the show. Unless the show goes past midnight. That’s possible. There’s a lot of matches on the card, including another one announced tonight.
Of course, Hardy is capitalizing on the publicity. You can see where he tweeted right after the AEW segment.
There is currently a battle raging within my VESSEL. Many forces are pulling me in different, multiple directions.
Only ONE will reign supreme.

However, I’m guessing this is all a big ruse. The Dark Order has been recruiting Chris Daniels and he’s been missing for a lot of the segments involving SCU.
Of course, AEW could go a completely different direction and pull something out none of us are expecting. AEW has proven so far to be good at keeping you guessing with storylines.
We’ll all just have to tune in Saturday to see which way they go.
