The date for the third match between Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar has been confirmed according to a new report.
Rhodes and Lesnar are currently one win apiece, and a rematch is set to determine who ends their feud with the advantage.
After matches at Backlash and Night of Champions, it was unclear whether their third match would take place at Money in the Bank in London on July 1, or at SummerSlam in Detroit on August 5.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the match is in fact set for SummerSlam.
Presumably that means Lesnar won’t be at Money in the Bank, and it frees up Rhodes to do something else in the UK.
Whether that’s being in the Money in the Bank ladder match or something different, we’ll have to see.
Rhodes is set to appear on tonight’s June 5 episode of Raw as the guest on Miz TV.
Also announced for Raw is a World Heavyweight Championship match with Seth Rollins defending against Damian Priest, and two women’s Money in the Bank qualifiers with Zoey Stark vs Natalya, and Becky Lynch vs Sonya Deville.
