WWE has announced the date for the next NXT Takeover event will be August 22, 2021.
The announcement was made during tonight’s episode of NXT. No specific name was given to the event and it was not specified whether or not the event will be held at the Capitol Wrestling Center.
The show is set to take place the day after SummerSlam. One would have to think if WWE was planning on holding Takeover in Las Vegas they would have made that announcement and put tickets on sale already.
We will continue to provide details about the show as soon as more information is revealed. After tonight, there are only four episodes of NXT before the Takeover event.
