While there is still a lot of uncertainty when it comes to WWE’s future events, one major event to look forward to is SummerSlam. The biggest show of the Summer now has a tentative date.
PWInsider has reported that the event will be taking place on August 22, 2021. It was also noted in the report that the show does not currently have a location. WWE has been open about their return to touring, with many people pointing to SummerSlam as a possible start date.
Obviously, there are few other details about the show at the moment. There are still a number of pay per views to get through before WWE will start building a potential card on television.
Last year’s event was the first pay per view to make use of the Thunderdome. The Thunderdome had been unveiled just two days earlier on SmackDown.
