During last night’s episode of WWE Raw, the dates for this year’s edition of the WWE Draft were officially announced.
The WWE Draft will take place across two nights – the October 1 SmackDown on FOX, and the October 4 Raw on USA Network.
These dates had previously been reported by Andrew Zarian, who had said that the draft was originally planned for September but moved back.
Zarian is also reporting that the ‘Season Premiere’ of SmackDown, which will feature the start of the King of the Ring and Queen of the Ring tournaments, will be on October 8.
October will be a busy month for WWE because the company will also be making its Saudi Arabia return for Crown Jewel on October 21.
Ahead of all that inevitable chaos, we have a new WWE Champion to carry us into it, as Big E cashed in Money in the Bank to win the title last night.
