Dave Bautista Comments On Possible WWE Hall Of Fame Induction WWE

WWE legend Dave Bautista has commented on his status for a potential WWE Hall of Fame induction following his cancelled induction in 2020.

Batista took part in his final match of his career back at WrestleMania 35 in 2019, when he lost to Triple H 14 years after their initial match at WrestleMania 21.

Following Batista’s retirement, he had been announced as the headline act of the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame class before the event was eventually moved behind close doors thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.

When the 2020 class was later inducted alongside the class of 2021 the following year, Batista was not present, never receiving his official induction into the Hall.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Batista spoke about the status of his WWE Hall of Fame induction, noting that it’s still something he wants to do in the future.

He said:

“Eventually I will. I want to, and there was a good opportunity for me to go in a couple of years ago and I agreed to do it.

“Hunter asked me to do it and I said, ‘Yeah of course’ – it was here in LA and I thought it was perfect, it was storybook because I won my first title here in LA, and we just couldn’t figure it out because I was working on a film, I was in South Africa. So logistically we just couldn’t make it happen.

“But yeah I’m still open to it and one day I would like to.”
