Dax Harwood Discusses How AEW Revolution Return Was Kept Secret AEW

FTR made their AEW return at last weekend’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view event, confronting AEW World Tag Team Champions the Gunn Club.

FTR’s return cam after a lot of speculation about their future, with Dax Harwood saying that he and Cash Wheeler’s AEW contracts were due to expire in April.

Speaking on his FTR with Dax Harwood podcast, Dax discussed FTR’s return on the show, and how they managed to keep it a secret from everyone.

He said:

“[It was] super emotional, because Cash [Wheeler] and I were so nervous going into that. No one knew we were there.

“We walked straight from our — we had our first ever private locker room. We walked straight from this private locker room right through the curtain. Tony gave us carte blanche to do what we want, and what we wanted to do was beat the s**t out of the Ass Boys. And that’s what we did, and they, as you can see, and what you saw, they beat the s**t out of us, too.”

FTR are reportedly locked in to ‘long term’ deals with the company, but Dax Harwood has said that ‘nothing has changed’ regarding FTR’s AEW status.
