The Owen Hart Foundation tournament began on this Wednesday’s (May 13) episode of AEW Dyanmite, when Adam Cole defeated Dax Harwood of FTR in the opening match of the tournament.
The match was well received by both the viewers at home and the live audience, who gave Dax a standing ovation for his performance in the match.
Dax took to Twitter today (May 13) to send his gratitude to the fans that night, saying that him getting a standing ovation meant the world to him, and that it was something that happened organically.
