Dean Ambrose Wants WWE Exit After Wrestlemania

Dean Ambrose returned in August 2018 and it’s safe to say the whole thing has been a bit of a wet fart, and so it comes as no surprise to hear rumours regarding a possible departure from WWE.

According to PWTorch.com, Dean is unhappy with this current creative direction, indicating to WWE management this past weekend he has no interest in re-negotiating his contract, which is due to expire after Wrestlemania. He also made it clear that this wasn’t about the money.

According to the source, only top management and a small circle of Ambrose’s friends knew about his decision. And wasn’t publicly known at the Royal Rumble or this week’s Raw taping. When asking for comment, PWTorch managed to contact someone close to the situation on the WWE roster,

When asked about his demeanor backstage, their reply was, “he’s pretty much impossible to read”. But also added that Dean “hates hokey sh–”. And going by the events that happened on this week’s Raw and his character development up until this point, all pretty much screams hokey.

Ambrose has been a big-time main-eventer within the WWE since crashing onto our screen in 2012 as one-third of the Shield. During 2014/15 he was seen as one of the top babyfaces in the company, and was apart of some of the best onscreen storylines during that time. Ambrose was also the first to achieve the WWE Grand Slam, ahead of his Shield brothers. With all these accolades under his belt, you could see why he would be frustrated.

With AEW looming in the background, it has to make you wonder, could we see the return of Jon Moxley?
