Independent promotions will team up for a set of co-branded shows ahead of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
On Sunday, June 25, AEW and NJPW will team up for their second annual Forbidden Door event at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
On May 2, DEFY Wrestling announced that they will be uniting with Progress Wrestling out of the UK to put on their co-promoted event right before AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 25.
Not only will the two promotions be teaming up, but SMASH Wrestling and Femme Fatales will also be sharing their own show right before the DEFY and Progress event. The tweet announcing the shows reads:
