Following the passing of its original premiere date, a new report has revealed a delayed WWE WrestleMania 40 project.
WWE has promoted WrestleMania 40 as the biggest Mania of all time due to the event being the highest grossing event in company history.
After Mania passed, the promotion announced that a WrestleMania 40 documentary was set to premiere on the Wednesday following the event.
Despite this announcement, the documentary still hasn’t been released on the company’s YouTube channel a month after the show.
According to PWInsider, there are some who believe the WrestleMania 40 documentary is waiting on final approval from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson before it is released. However, this hasn’t been 100% confirmed to be accurate.
The report notes that WWE officials have indicated the documentary would be released “soon.”
Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 40 Night Two.
