Deonna Purrazzo wins the Knockouts Championship at Slammiversary. The Virtuosa made a splash by signing with IMPACT.
Purrazzo was never able to get a push in WWE/NXT. She was originally paired with Chelsea Green, but the two never really got off the ground.
Both lost on WWE Raw. Green got a push on NXT. However, Purrazzo never did.
She left and she signed with IMPACT. It hasn’t taken long for that decision to pay off.

She won the title tonight at Slammiversary. She made Jordynne Grace tap out to a double armbar. The match was fantastic.
The two pulled off a match with some great back and forth action. They also told a fantastic story in the ring. Grace had the power. Purrazzo was the technical wrestler.
They fought with great intensity and everything they did in the ring made sense. It was well booked and well-executed. It is worth going out of your way to watch.
Congratulations to Deonna Purrazzo for the big win. Obviously, this is her first IMPACT Knockouts Championship.
