Departing AEW Name Teases Joining WWE Stable?

An AEW name set to become a free agent tomorrow has teased a potential return to WWE to join a current faction.

Ever since Chelsea Green became the inaugural Women’s United States Champion back at Saturday Night’s Main Event, her partner Piper Niven has served as her secret service.

However, on last week’s SmackDown show, Chelsea teased potentially adding more security to her ensemble, which was followed up by Piper Niven speaking with Blair Davenport in the background of a later segment.

Taking to Twitter, the USA Network asked who wanted to join new members of Chelsea’s Cabinet, to which Chelsea responded:

Chelsea’s tweet was responded to by Maria Kanellis, who simply replied:

Maria is set to become a free agent at midnight tonight, with her announcing today that today was her final day under contract to AEW.

Chelsea will make the next defence of her United States Championship on tonight’s SmackDown show, facing off once again against Michin.
