Following the Genesis pay-per-view, TNA Wrestling star Josh Alexander has broken his silence ahead of his final appearance.
At TNA Genesis, Mike Santana defeated Josh Alexander in an I Quit Match. Post match, Santana demanded his opponent shake his hand and show him respect.
Alexander responded by shaking Santana’s hand and telling him that he’s the new “Standard” of TNA Wrestling before revealing that he is quitting the company.
TNA released a digital exclusive where Director of Authority Santino Marella informed Alexander that he must appear at the live IMPACT episode this Thursday, January 23.
Ahead of that appearance, Josh Alexander took to social media to address the fans and public following his quitting TNA Wrestling. He wrote:
For the many emails, DMs I’ve received.
No I will not be accepting interviews at this time.
I quit podcasts for the foreseeable future as well.
It remains to be seen what “The Walking Weapon” will do on the January 23 edition of TNA IMPACT at the time of this writing.
