Details from the arraignment of AEW star Cash Wheeler following his arrest earlier today (August 18) have now emerged.

Wheeler, real name Daniel Wheeler, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.

A warrant had been issued on July 28, and he had filed a not guilty plea through his attorney on August 3. That obviously means the incident happened weeks ago.

During the arraignment today, it was stated that Wheeler turned himself in.

The prosecution noted that Wheeler has no other criminal history, and it “appears to be a road rage type incident” where Wheeler “allegedly flashed a handgun at the alleged victim”.

Wheeler did not know the alleged victim.

Wheeler’s bond was set at $2500, and he was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim or any other witnesses involved in the case. He’s also ordered to have no weapons on or about his person.

That means any weapons he owns that aren’t in the custody of law enforcement already have to be turned in to the Sherriff’s department pending the outcome of the case within 12 hours of his release.
