WWE headed to India on Friday, September 8 for the WWE Superstar Spectacle event in Hyderabad.
The show was WWE’s first event in India in many years, with John Cena taking part in his first match in the country, teaming with Seth Rollins to face Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser of Imperium.
Most of the stars on the show travelled back from India, and travelled to Norfolk, Virginia for last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
Per PWInsider, the insane travel schedule for the stars on the Superstar Spectacle event has been revealed.
The WWE crew that went to India returned to the United States in time to head straight back on the road for Raw.
PWInsider was told that the trip was ‘pretty rough’ in that it was around 19 hours of flights each way, with the talent landing, going straight into media interviews, performing live for the show, and then heading right back to the airport for another 19 hour flight back to the States.
Despite the exhausting schedule, PWInsider was told that the atmosphere live was ‘absolutely insane’ and loud in terms of electricity.
Becky Lynch was originally scheduled to wrestle on the show, but was unable to travel to India due to a tear in her passport, which led to Natalya pulling double duty on the show.
