Details On Plans For ‘WrestleMania Goes Hollywood’ Trailers WWE

More details have emerged on WWE plans for ‘WrestleMania goes Hollywood’ movie trailer promos ahead of WrestleMania 39.

In the lead-up to WrestleMania 21 in 2005, WWE aired several parody trailers, featuring WWE stars acting out famous movie scenes.

It was previously reported that WWE will air similar segments ahead of WrestleMania 39, which will emanate from California’s SoFi Stadium on April 1-2.

WrestleVotes has now taken to Twitter to reveal the planned movie trailers, and the stars set to appear in them.

The planned list is as follows:

– Miz & Maryse: Top Gun

– Rhea / Judgment Day: Stranger Things

– Brawling Brutes & Drew McIntyre: 40 Year Old Virgin

– Becky & Seth Rollins: Batman & Joker

– The Bloodline: Goodfellas

Interestingly, the only one of the above properties that didn’t exist in 2005 is Stranger Things, which funnily enough is a TV series set in the 1980s.

40 Year Old Virgin technically came out after WrestleMania 21, with ‘Mania airing in the April, and the movie hitting theaters in the September.

Cody Rhodes is slated to compete for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39.

While the title currently sits around the waist of Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn will challenge for the gold at Elimination Chamber.
