Details have emerged on the WWE creative team, following Triple H taking over creative from Vince McMahon.
There have been a number of significant changes made to the backstage creative team over the last year or so, with Triple H (Paul Levesque) officially taking over as Chief Content Officer following Vince McMahon’s departure in July 2022.
Since McMahon returned to the company in January, there have been reports and rumors about changing roles within the division, with McMahon having some creative input following his comeback.
A recent report has indicated that Triple H has now taken over “99.9%” of the company’s creative reins.
Per Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Triple H is making the key creative decisions, and Vince McMahon is not involved with the process ‘at the moment.
Meltzer wrote:
Regarding the creative process, right now Paul Levesque is the person in charge. He’s the one making all the key decisions. Bruce Prichard is a conduit between creative, talent relations and talent services.
Ed Koskey is the operations person who keeps the scripts flowing. At the moment, Vince McMahon is out of the creative process, but it was stressed to me the term “at the moment.”
McMahon is still the person in charge of the company with the most power but Levesque is running creative and Nick Khan is making the business moves.
Of course, WWE now operates as part of TKO Group Holdings, following its merger with UFC.
