There was a subtle story taking place in the background of last week’s episode of WWE Raw in Cleveland, which ultimately led to the WWE return of Dexter Lumis.

The story began with a car crash in the background of Kevin Owens’ interview segment. The car was later towed during an interview with Asuka and Alexa Bliss, before security rushed passed the pair. The climax revealed the culprit as Dexter Lumis, who was taken away by security at the end of the show.

Obviously WWE fans have been extra eagle-eyed during tonight’s show, and have already noticed signs of Dexter’s presence on the show.

The first came during Theory’s backstage brawl with Dolph Ziggler, in which Dexter’s arm was spotted in the hallway as the brawl was taking place.

Later, Drew McIntyre was making his way out to the ring when he walked by a trash can that was being extinguished following a fire started, presumably by Lumis.
