The Digital Media Championship changed hands during Friday night’s (July 1) IMPACT Wrestling Against All Odds event.
During the pre-show, Brian Myers challenged for Rich Swann’s gold in a Dot Combat match. Myers ultimately defeated Swann to become the new champion.
Swann had became champion after defeating the previous titleholder, Matt Cardona, at a Wrestling Revolver show in May. Myers is just the fourth holder of the Digital Media Championship, after Jordynne Grace, Matt Cardona and Rich Swann.
Three other titles were defended on the show, with Mike Bailey putting his X Division gold on the line against Trey Miguel, Jordynne Grace retaining her Knockouts Championship over Tasha Steelz, and Josh Alexander facing off against Joe Doering for the IMPACT World Title.
