VIDEO: DIY Reunite With Hilarious Throwback To NXT Run

Following their long-awaited reunion on last week’s Raw, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa have celebrated in style by reviving a fan-favorite trend on social media.

While known best for their exciting NXT run during the Black & Gold era of the brand, DIY were also known for starting a trend known as the ‘Glorious bomb’, which began at the peak of Bobby Roode’s own success on the brand.

Although Roode has a 203 day reign as NXT Champion to his name, perhaps what was most popular about his entire presentation at the time was his entrance music ‘Glorious.’

The catchy tune became a fan-favorite theme, and building off that Gargano and Ciampa began filming short videos and uploading them to social media, where they would play the Glorious theme in many differing locations and attempt to get the nod of approval from Roode.

These locations featured a bathroom, a gym, cafeteria to name a few, however, now, many, many years since the last, DIY have brought the trend back.

In a video uploaded to Gargano’s Twitter, which can be viewed below, Gargano and Ciampa knocked on a door with a sign for ‘production meeting’ on it, waiting for Roode to show up.

While at first WWE producer Michael Hayes answered the door, Roode would then show face, with DIY eventually getting the nod of approval from the Glorious one.

It was recently reported that Roode had been removed from the WWE roster, with his producer role now appearing to be his full-time gig.

In their first night back together, DIY were attacked by Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci, seemingly further building a program between the two teams.
