Dolph Ziggler Pays Tribute To Released WWE Stars On SmackDown

One of the several WWE stars who was unfortunately released earlier this week was former Intercontinental Champion Zack Ryder. F0r those who aren’t aware, Ryder had been with WWE for just over 14 years prior to his release.

Another of the released WWE stars was Ryder’s tag team partner Curt Hawkins. Hawkins had also been with WWE for 14 years at the time of his unfortunate release.

As a way to honour Ryder and Hawkins, former World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler decided to wear a piece of Ryder and Hawkins match during a segment on SmackDown last night.

During the segment in the ring with Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose and later Otis, you can clearly see that Ziggler is wearing some of Ryder and Hawkins merch.

Ziggler has shown himself to be a class act this week. Dolph purchased 20 of independent wrestler Christian Kobain’s shirts on Pro Wrestling Tees, amounting to just shy of $130.

Speaking of Pro Wrestling Tees, if you want to support your favourite released WWE stars like Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder during this difficult time, then you can easily find their stores by clicking here.
