WWE Raw star and known ‘ex-con’ Dominik Mysterio has offered words of encouragement to an NXT star who’s having some trouble with the law as of late.
The star in question is of course Tony D’Angelo who, unlike Dom, has remained ‘locked up’ for longer than a few hours, spending just over three weeks behind bars since his arrest on the May 23 edition of NXT.
Despite Tony D’s entire persona being that of a mobster it was in fact Dom who has bestowed a message of support to the NXT star via Twitter.
Tagging Tony D, Dom tweeted:
Only the strong survive… @TonyDangeloWWE
Tony D has committed several questionable acts on NXT TV such as sending former NXT star Troy Donovan (AEW’s Cole Karter) and current Smackdown team Pretty Deadly to ‘sleep with the fishes’.
However, despite the obvious incrimination of his actions, the head of the D’Angelo family seems intent that there is a rat amidst their ranks.
The search for this rat continued on this week’s NXT where fellow D’Angelo family member Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo seemed to lay the blame on current NXT Tag Champions Gallus.
Elsewhere on NXT the much-anticipated World Heavyweight Championship match between Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and Bron Breakker was made official.
Following the announcement Rollins would react with a sentimental message regarding his return to his old stomping grounds, click here to find out more.
