Dominik Mysterio Comments On Working With Eddie Guerrero In WWE

Former NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio of The Judgment Day has commented on working with Eddie Guerrero in WWE.

Since becoming a regular on-screen performer in 2019, Dominik Mysterio has worked closely with his father Rey Mysterio.

“Dirty Dom” first teamed with his father to become WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions, but he then turned on Rey and started a feud that culminated in a match at WrestleMania 39.

However, Mysterio previously appeared on WWE television in 2005 as part of the rivalry between his father and WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero that involved a fight over custody of Dominik.

Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Dominik Mysterio was asked about working with Eddie Guerrero in WWE. He replied:

“Not everyone can say they worked with Eddie.

“I hear people say, ‘My dream match would be Eddie Guerrero.’ S**t, mine too. Looking back, just sharing the ring with him, it’s an honor.”

Dominik continued on to credit Guerrero for planting the seed for him to become a pro wrestler, saying:

“Eddie helped plant the seed in 2005 that this was what I was going to do.

“I’m very blessed to have known him, and I am always grateful to keep his memory alive.”

Dominik Mysterio is currently out of action with a shoulder injury, while Eddie Guerrero is the subject of the May 26 edition of Biography: WWE Legends on A&E.
