Donovan Dijak has revealed the character he pitched to WWE prior to his departure from the company in late June.
Between November 2022 and April 2024, Dijak enjoyed a successful stint in WWE NXT performing under a character that gained a lot of popularity with the fans in Orlando, and was a far cry from his oft-criticised stint as T-BAR that came prior.
While many thought main roster success would be coming his way after his drafting to Raw in May, instead Dijak found himself absent from TV until his event departure in late June at the end of his WWE contract.
Following Hangman Page committing storyline Arson on this week’s AEW Dynamite, a Twitter user posted about their original hopes for the Dijak character on the WWE main roster – one that would police ‘crimes’ that would take place within the realm of WWE TV.
In response to the post Dijak would reveal that this character was the “exact” one he had pitched to WWE on multiple occasions prior to his eventual departure.
Dijak wrote:
My exact vision that I directly pitched multiple times.
Since departing WWE Dijak has competed for indie promotions such as RYSE, RevPro and most recently MLW – making his debut for the latter at their Summer of the Beasts show on August 29.
