When WWE stars get released, it’s often only a matter of time before they appear on a podcast to give their uncensored opinions on their time with the promotion.
So, now that Cody Rhodes has left AEW, surely he’ll be doing the same? Apparently not.
According to Dave Meltzer, Cody and AEW President Tony Khan have agreed to keep everything as private as possible, so we shouldn’t expect Cody to discuss his departure publicly.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said:
“I’ve been in contact with Cody, you [Bryan Alvarez] have too, but this is like the basic situation, that we haven’t talked about this, because I think that Tony and Cody pretty much had an agreement that – aside from their statement – that’s the only public stuff that they’re gonna say.”

Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated has reported Cody could be joining WWE as soon as this weekend, and might be filming at the Performance Center in Orlando.
Vince McMahon is reportedly thrilled to have Cody returning to WWE, and wants to feature him heavily on the WrestleMania 38 card.
