WWE Raw star Doudrop has spoken about Molly Holly’s work as a WWE producer, praising the Hall of Famer.
Following a trial period, it was reported that Molly Holly had signed on with WWE as a full-time backstage producer. Doudrop has noted that it has been great to get a woman’s perspective on her matches.
Speaking with Wrestling Inc, Doudrop noted that the Hall of Famer’s insight has been extremely valuable. Stating that working with Holly was a dream come true, Doudrop said:
“Obviously I was a big wrestling fan growing up, so getting to work with her was like a dream come true. To talk to her, to get her perspective, to get some of her experience has been vastly useful for me. You try to chat to everybody but you definitely have to get a woman’s perspective because let’s face it, there’s not a whole lot of us.”
At SummerSlam, Doudrop turned her back on her former mentor, Eva Marie. Marie has since revealed the original plan for her and Doudrop’s team.
Doudrop, formerly Piper Niven, has also revealed her reaction to WWE changing her name.
