Earlier on this morning (5:50am EST), a rather worrying tweet was sent out from the Twitter account of NXT star and former 205 Live General Manager, Drake Maverick.
The post, which has since been deleted, seemed to be sent from Maverick’s wife, and read as follows:
“It’s Renee. Drake (James) is in safe hands being checked over thoroughly by doctors soon. Thanks to all that iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii”
Subsequently, many fans were rather worried about the status of the beloved NXT star. Maverick won over the WWE faithful following his release in April 2020.
Thankfully, Maverick has updated fans about the status, and noted that he was just hacked on social media. Fortunately, it seems as if Drake is doing fine.
