Drake Maverick Wins The 24/7 Championship On Smackdown Live

Drake Maverick has once again become the 24/7 Champion tonight on Smackdown Live.  Maverick pinned Elias after Kevin Owens stunned Elias in the ring.

Earlier in the night, Elias told Kevin Owens that Shane McMahon was not in the building tonight.  Elias came out to cut a promo about becoming King of the Ring.  Due to no Shane tonight, Owens was able to attack Elias.  Also, no Shane means the 24/7 rules wouldn’t be suspended.

After the Owens’ attack on Elias, R-Truth appeared ring side with a referee.  As he was going for the cover, Maverick appeared and pulled him out of the ring.  He then covered Elias and has, once again, become the 24/7 Champion.
