Drew McIntyre made his return from injury during last night’s (January 29) Royal Rumble match, where he was the runner up, being the last elimination from Brock Lesnar.
Per PWInsider, McIntyre arrived ‘extremely late’ into the Royal Rumble show to hide his return from the fans, who were not expecting him.
They also note that, since the Stadium is so massive, that some within the company had no idea Drew was even there until he arrived in the Gorilla position for the match.
