Drew McIntyre has opened up about his match with Bobby Lashley Hell in a Cell, showing off his gruesome back injuries.
During last night’s show, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley went to war over the WWE Championship. Ultimately McIntyre was pinned, meaning that he cannot challenge for the WWE Title, as long as Lashley is champion.
McIntyre has thanked his fans for their support throughout the pandemic era. Noting that he hoped to hold the top title when fans returned, McIntyre shared photos of his scars from the brutal match.
Commenting on the “wild ride”, McIntyre tweeted:

With McIntyre out of the WWE Championship picture, Lashley will begin a new rivalry on the road to SummerSlam. Lashley has recently named a number of stars that he thinks could challenge him at The Biggest Party of the Summer.
Prior to McIntyre’s final title match, the former WWE Champion addressed criticisms from fans who no longer wanted to see him in the title picture.
