Last night at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, Charlotte Flair eliminated bookies favourite and former NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler to become only the third woman to win the Royal Rumble match.
Many fans then expected Asuka to defeat Becky Lynch later on in the night to build to Flair vs. Asuka II at WrestleMania 36. However, Becky Lynch instead walked out the win and will likely face Charlotte Flair on the “grandest stage of them all”.
Taking to Twitter following her big win, Charlotte had a seemingly cryptic message. ‘The Queen” will hopefully be slightly more clear about what her plans are on Monday Night Raw tonight.

While WWE’s choice of Charlotte as the women’s Royal Rumble winner might have been slightly uninspiring, many fans were elated when Drew McIntyre eliminated Roman Reigns to win the men’s bout.
Drew looked great in the match, eliminating Brock Lesnar who had already thrown out 13 superstars in what was a dominating performance.
Taking to Twitter, the former NXT Champion and newly babyface Drew McIntyre thanked his friends, family, peers and fans for their support following his huge win last night.

WWE has now confirmed that both Drew and Charlotte will be declaring who they are going to be going after at WrestleMania tonight on Monday Night Raw, so stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for updates on that.

It has been reported that Charlotte and Drew were not the originally picks to win the rumbles and WWE had plans for two other wrestlers to receive the big win until the last minute.
