Drew McIntyre Fires Back At CM Punk Over WWE 2K24 Dig

CM Punk is now available to play in the WWE 2K24 video game which gave the star more ammunition against Drew McIntyre.

The ECW Punk pack was released on May 15 for the popular video game, marking CM Punk’s first appearance in a WWE 2K game since 2014.

Speaking about the appearance on social media, Punk fired shots at McIntyre, saying:

“WWE 2K24 is making waves on the internet so you know Drew McIntyre is watching it.

“I’m part of the Punk pack that includes myself and some hardcore legends from ECW like The Sandman, The Dudleys and the most hardcore legend of all, Terry Funk.

“Now, Drew, if you are watching – and let’s face it, it’s on the internet so you are watching it – you can finally play as your favorite wrestler and human being: me, CM Punk.

“Hope you have a terrible day, pal.”

McIntyre would celebrate the inclusion of CM Punk in WWE 2K24 by tweeting a barbed message of his own with accompanying footage that can be seen below this news story.

McIntyre has recently described himself as a “champion without a championship” while noting how he’s “setting the bar” on WWE Raw.

CM Punk has been sidelined by injury since the WWE Royal Rumble in January 2024 but is reportedly “not that far from” an in-ring return.
