Drew McIntyre has teased a “gameplan” ahead of his match against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
McIntyre and Rhodes will step into the ring at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Rhodes retained the Undisputed WWE Championship against McIntyre at Wrestlepalooza, with the pair continuing to be at odds.
Their most recent encounter ended with a DQ finish, with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis setting up the match for Saturday Night’s Main Event.
During a recent interview with Edinburgh News, McIntyre gave an insight into his mindset going into the match, noting that he has a ‘gameplan’, saying:
“This time I have a gameplan. I have something in mind. I have one more SmackDown to get through before Saturday Night’s Main Event.
“And I’ve got a feeling I can get this match in a place where I feel comfortable, that the better man will win, and that’s all I’ve ever wanted.”
He would go on to seemingly take a swipe at his opponent, promising that the “better man” will be the one to win their match, stating:
“That the better man wins… not the one that plays politics best, or the one that kisses ass best wins.”
McIntyre recently defeated Jimmy Uso on SmackDown and took the opportunity to take a dig at Naomi, who responded on social media.
