Drew McIntyre Sends Damian Priest Warning Following Wife Mention On WWE Raw WWE

The May 27 episode of WWE Raw saw Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre exchange words ahead of Clash at the Castle.

The June 15 PLE takes place in Glasgow, Scotland with the pair facing off for the Judgment Day member’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Footage from their barbed exchange can be seen below this news story, with McIntyre pointing out that of the wrestlers from the UK, he’s the only one to have won the World Title three times.

Offering a “geography lesson, because they don’t teach geography in America”, McIntyre would find himself interrupted by a USA chant which saw him backtrack on his statement somewhat before pointing out that Priest will be “walking into a warzone” in Scotland.

Priest would slap back at McIntyre asking him if “the fans are going to boo me” is the best that he can offer before asking a question of his own.

With Priest asking if McIntyre’s wife is going to be at Clash at the Castle, McIntyre warned:

“You better choose your next bloody words carefully.

“I will drop you where you stand if you continue on this path.”

It looks like Priest got what he wanted out of his opponent, though, going on to say:

“Alright, Drew, I could care less if she’s going to be there or not, man.

“I just wanted to see if I could get under your skin. Clearly, I did.

“I just wanted to see if you were man enough to do something about it.”

McIntyre has since responded on Twitter, sharing an image of Will Smith slapping Chris Rock from the Oscars in 2022.

He had his own suggestion for how the slap would go, though, tweeting:

“He mentions my wife again and it will be this but I’ll be holding a brick. And not crying.”

The World Heavyweight Championship match is the only WWE Clash at the Castle match announced at the time of writing.

As WWE fans await the rest of the card being revealed, WrestleTalk readers may want to check out our predictions.
